Winter Ball 2007

I went to WinterBall with Jeff Whiting this year, and it was such a blast! We ate dinner at our friend, Andrew's house and went with a group of all the mormon kids! Mom and Dad chaporoned at the dance, which was great! I had so much fun at my first date dance! ~Ash

We love BYU football! Go Cougars!

What a great season it has been for the BYU football team! The BYU/Utah game proved to be just as exciting as last year's game. It was so intense, much too close, stressful and frustrating at times (can't we just get the ball into the endzone?!) and then incredibly exciting with a touchdown in the last minute of the game! It was much more fun this year at the LaVelle Edwards stadium with all the BYU fans cheering the team on to victory! Here are some pictures from all of the games this season!

Disney On Ice-High School Musical!

For my 16th birthday, Kimber and Brett bought Brooke, Dani, and me tickets for HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL: THE ICE TOUR!!! We were insanely excited, and it was one of the best nights of our lives. We danced, sang, and screamed along with all the 6-year-olds. Actually... we screamed louder than the 6-year-olds. For real. Thanks soooo much, Kimber and Brett! I cannot even explain how much I loved your present!! -ash

Speedy B takes 1st place at the League Championship!

Brooke has had a great cross country season this fall, taking first place at every league meet and tied for 3rd at the Stanford Invitational. For a freshman, running on varsity, that is pretty amazing! On Wednesday, she took 1st place at the SFL League championships! Congratulations Brooke! We are so proud of you!

A Night to Remember!

Last weekend we had the wonderful opprotunity to attend the regional Emmy Awards night with Kimber & Brett, Josh Greenbaum (the photography and co-producer) and his girlfriend, Jenn, and Brett's parents, Dennis and Laura Crandall. It was such a fun evening and the best part was when they announced Kimber and Josh's documentary as the winner of "Best Photography" and "Best Documentary." It was so great to be able to share this special evening with them and to celebrate their amazing accomplishment! Congratulations, Josh and Kimber!

Last night we took our Young Women up to the Sacramento Temple, walked around the grounds and took pictures! It was a gorgeous evening and the temple was beautiful! And don't our girls look stunning?! So much fun! I love our Young Women! Isn't it great to be...from GB3:)!!

Brooke takes 1st place at league meet!

Brooke ran in her first varsity cross country league meet today and took 1st place! She lead the whole way and finished 19 seconds ahead of the next girl! She was definitely "Speedy B" today! Go! Go! Holt Champion!

Speedy Brooke is a running star!

I left my heart in San Francisco!

I love San Francisco! And love to visit the city with my girls! We love eating clam chowder in a bowl at Boudins at the Wharf, hot fudge sundaes at Ghiradelli's, shopping at Union Square and dinner at the Cheesecake Factory on the terrace overlooking Union Square. So here are some pictures from one of our trips to the city with our cousin, Tara and our good friend, Joseph Mullen. We met my college roommate and her daughters at Fisherman's Wharf and had a blast with them! So much fun!

Allie spent the summer in the Dominican Republic teaching health at the DREAM school with the BYU study abroad program. Mark and I went down to the DR to visit her in July. We had a great time visiting her school and spending time on the beach together. We loved the restaurants on the beach and ate at Casanova almost everynight. Yum!

Kimber moves to NYC!

In May, I flew back to NY to help Kimber move into their little apartment near Wall Street. We had so much fun, finally opening up her wedding gifts and setting up her apartment! It looked darling and just perfect for the two of them! Just a few blocks from Brett's office at Deutsche Bank, near the Brooklyn Bridge, Battery Park and there is fun shopping at the South Seaport!

Memorial day weekend, Mark and I flew to New Haven, Conneticut to join in all the graduation celebrations with Brett and Kimber! It was 3 days of amazing festivities! We really enjoyed walking around the beautiful campus! The architecture is so incredible! We had a wonderful time with Brett and Kimber and Brett's family! We feel so lucky that she has married into such a wonderful family!
