We spent Labor Day weekend in Park City with the kids at BYU.
On Thursday night, Dad and Allie went to the game together
and had a daddy-daughter date since I was still in Tampa.
Ashley hosted a tailgate with her pals, while Brooke worked as a sports marketing intern that night.
(You can read about their Cougar activities here.)
I flew in and joined the family on Friday afternoon and didn't waste anytime getting busy.
After we hit Cafe Rio for some good mexican food for dinner,
we made our way over to the Park City high school football game,
who were playing McCall, Brooke's roommates, little brother, Mason's team.
We met up with Brooke and McCall and her family and enjoyed watching the game and visiting together.
Ashley and her pals and the rest of Brooke's roommates came up to our place
after the game for a girl's slumber party, jacuzziing, snacking and chatting all night.
And as usual, Dad got up early and made a big pancake breakfast for the gang.
We love it when the kids bring up their friends to hang out!
Allie and Justin joined us Saturday night in Park City.
Dad had a groupon for The Farm at Canyons, which is just down the road from us,
so he treated us to a lovely dinner!
There was an outdoor concert that night on the hill so the place was busy...
and the views from our seats were gorgeous!
Dad and Justin ordered the SugarHouse Pork.
Allie had the burger and she and Dad said that it was the "best burger they have ever tasted."
Ashley had the Buttermilk Fried Hen. Yum!
And I had the salmon with roasted peaches. Delicious!
It was a very fun evening with these cute kids!
And before long, these two headed out to join their friends for a bonfire. Fun!
So happy that they are bestfriends and love each other so much!
The view of the outdoor concert as we walked home that night.
Looks like fun, huh!?
We enjoyed a beautiful Sunday by attending church and while we were preparing Sunday dinner,
we looked out our window and saw this beautiful rainbow stretching across the valley.
It was a great reminder of just why we love Park City anytime of the year.
With the weather changing and the leaves starting turning colors, it was absolutely gorgeous all weekend!
We flew out on Monday, Mark headed back home and I flew to Arizona to spend some time with my parents.
But as we headed to the airport, we both commented what a great weekend that we had
and how we can't wait to get back to Park City!
