Getting into the Christmas spirit with girlfriends

Every year our dear friend, Suzanne Butcher, charters a bus to take a group of ladies
from Granite Bay to San Francisco for the day to jump start our Christmas shopping.
It's always a fun 2 hour bus ride with the ladies, chatting and visiting with all the gals on the bus.
And then we enjoyed a full day of shopping at Union Square.
As you can see, Carolyn, Jennifer and I were very successful
and got a good start on our Christmas shopping!
This is always a great day with friends and such a good way to kick off the Christmas season!
The next day, I organized a group to attend the Granite Bay Christmas Nativity exhibit,
which had over 500 nativities from 60 countries from around the world displayed.
This is a picture of some of the ladies in front of the beautiful outdoor nativity.
We had about 20 gals that came that day to view the exhibit.
Afterwards, we all went to Cheesecake Factory for lunch and lots of visiting.
Both of these activities were so much fun and reminded me how lucky I am
to be surrounded by great ladies in our community
that enjoy sharing and celebrating every season of the year and every season of our life together.
